Maxwell Street Express is a South Side gem! Grabbed the Polish Maxwell Style with grilled onions and sport peppers—just $3.89—and a side of cheese fries for $1.49. The Polish was juicy and packed with flavor, and those cheese fries? Straight fire. Plus, the service was fast and friendly. If you're in the area, this spot's a must-try!

I love their chicken tacos, beef polish, fries, and icy cups. They sell pops, juice, and waters. They accept debit cards, and the service is fast. The Maxwell's Street near my home doesn't cover any of the items above except for beef polishes and hamburgers. In result, they couldn't do that right. And since its cash only, their ATM is outside in the cold. So anytime I have a taste for Maxwell's Street, I drive past the restaurant near me for this location. Lastly, they are always open, including holidays.

Maxwell Street Express hits the spot when you're craving that classic Chicago fast food fix. I swung by on a Saturday afternoon and grabbed the Maxwell Street Polish Combo for $11.99—grilled to perfection with onions, mustard, and sport peppers, all nestled in a soft bun. The fries were crispy and hot, and the can of pop was a nice touch. The service was friendly, and the food came out fast. It’s a no-frills spot, but that’s part of its charm—just good, honest food done right. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the fries could’ve been a bit more seasoned. But overall, it’s a solid choice when you’re in the mood for a Maxwell Street Polish.

Look no further.. This is the one!!. Made exactly how i like it.. and ordered it! My food was hot & ready, fresh off the grill!! In my opinion.. this is the Number #1 Maxwell's in the Chicagoland area hands-down!!. Especially, since the 79th St. Maxwell's closed. They also make those same exact REAL Fresh-Cut potato fries like 79th St. did!!. Say Less!!.

I took my sister here to purchase a few tacos. I was shocked to know that the polish sausage place sold tacos. I tried their tacos for the 1st time, and I have to admit it was pretty good.
